Day-by-day itinerary

1. 01Day 1 · 16 May

   Arrival in Beijing

   • Upon arrival in Beijing, meet our local representative at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
   • Complete the check-in formalities and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
   • You can relax at the hotel after your journey or explore the nearby surroundings.
   • Overnight stay in Beijing.
2. 02Day 2 · 17 May

   Beijing City Tour

   • After breakfast, visit the beautiful Summer Palace, known for its traditional gardens, lakes and imperial architecture.
   • Continue to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most scenic sections of the Great Wall of China, with a round-trip cable car ride included.
   • Later, explore Wangfujing Commercial Street, a popular shopping destination in Beijing.
   • Overnight stay in Beijing.
3. 03Day 3 · 18 May

   Beijing – Zhangjiajie

   • After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square, one of China's most famous landmarks, followed by the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of Chinese emperors.
   • Continue to Houhai Lake, a charming area known for its lakeside scenery and traditional surroundings.
   • Later, transfer to Beijing Airport for your domestic flight to Zhangjiajie.
   • Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
   • Overnight stay in Zhangjiajie.
4. 04Day 4 · 19 May

   Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

   • After breakfast, proceed to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, famous for its towering sandstone pillars and dramatic natural landscapes.
   • Explore the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, known for its unique rock formations and mountain views.
   • Continue to Tianzi Mountain, enjoying a one-way cable car ride, followed by a one-way journey on the Bailong Outdoor Elevator, offering impressive views of the surrounding peaks.
   • Overnight stay in Zhangjiajie.
5. 05Day 5 · 20 May

   Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon & Glass Bridge

   • After breakfast, proceed to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, home to impressive natural scenery and dramatic canyon landscapes.
   • Experience the famous Glass Bridge, suspended high above the canyon, offering views of the valley below.
   • Enjoy a hike through the Grand Canyon and take in its beautiful natural surroundings.
   • A boat ride is also included as part of the experience.
   • Overnight stay in Zhangjiajie.
6. 06Day 6 · 21 May

   Zhangjiajie – Shanghai

   • After breakfast, enjoy the morning at leisure before checking out and transferring to Zhangjiajie Railway Station.
   • Board the bullet train to Shanghai (G1473: 13:40–23:29).
   • Upon arrival in Shanghai, meet the local representative and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
   • Overnight stay in Shanghai.
7. 07Day 7 · 22 May

   Shanghai City Tour

   • After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Shanghai, starting with Yuyuan Garden, a traditional Chinese garden known for its beautiful architecture and landscaped surroundings.
   • Explore the nearby Old Town, where traditional streets and local shops offer a glimpse of old Shanghai.
   • Continue to Xintiandi, known for its restored Shikumen-style buildings, followed by Nanjing Road, one of the city's most famous shopping streets.
   • End the tour at The Bund, a waterfront promenade offering beautiful views of Shanghai's skyline.
   • Overnight stay in Shanghai.
8. 08Day 8 · 23 May

   Departure from Shanghai

   • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Shanghai Airport for your departure flight.
